Tamila Azadaliyeva – Musical Life Competition Juror (piano)
Originally from Uzbekistan, Tamila Azadaliyeva has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the United States, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Israel, Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan. She has been a guest soloist with several orchestras including the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
Tamila’s recent highlights include solo performance of Viteszlava Kaprálová’s Partita for Piano and Strings, Op.20, and Manuel de Falla’s “Nights in the Gardens of Spain” for piano and orchestra with the San Francisco Civic Symphony in the Herbst Theater in San Francisco, California, and recital at Carnegie Hall with Misha Quint, cello, in New York City.
A sought-after educator and chamber musician, Tamila has taught and performed at various institutes and workshops in the United States and abroad. She recently served as a member of the piano faculty at Oxana Yablonskaya Piano Institute in California, Israel and Bulgaria, and at the Interharmony Music Festival in Acqui Terme, Italy.
Tamila is the founder and artistic director of the Carlsbad Chamber Music Festival in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, where she enjoys many opportunities to perform solo and chamber music with her esteemed colleagues, and coach young, aspiring musicians.
Tamila resides in Connecticut and teaches piano and chamber music at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School Community Division, Loomis Chaffee School and maintains a private studio in West Hartford.
